Legacy Narrative Essay
The legacy I chose was my parents legacy because they taught me many lessons for example; be nice to everyone, no matter what don't start a fight, and be happy, this might sound like normal stuff but they actually help you throughout life. One points of my life I feel like beating up somebody because they were bullying me, but my parents always told me calm down. Fighting is just going to lead to more fighting and there's not going to be a stop to it. It's good to be happy throughout your life because if you’re not you become confuse, and you feel like you don't have a purpose in life. That's why it's good to be happy because if you're happy you will have meaning to your life. For example, a jobs they say pick one that you will love 24/7 and you're going to enjoy. The most important one of all is to be respectful, and to respect people the same way you want to be repeated. I wasn’t nice to people I met, I would've probably been a jerk and people would hate me and all this stuff and I would have a miserable time in high school.
One time in eighth grade I was being bullied, I’ll come home angry every day,so angry I just wanted to beat up something but what kept me from going often beating up to bullies was my parents kept telling me Steven fighting is not the answer be nice to them and you don't know they might be at your friend. I'll be like yeah right mom/dad I'm not going to be friends with the bully, but at the end of it all that I became friends with the bullies. I think if I did not listen to my parents I would've been an angry little kid that hardly everything and didn’t had any friends and just would been angry all the time because I was bullied but I'm happy,I'm nice, and I don’t fight.
Anger and fighting wouldn't get you anywhere, if you try to fight your way up to the top you just fall back down. Look up to my parents always do and they do great stuff I think their lives they seem so happy with the children with everything. But when I started looking up to them it's when they told me to be happy be nice and don't fight because I learn it for myself.
Overall some that I'm trying to point out if that my parents have been a big part of my life they have been helping me. They have been give me wisdom a been a great parens really think they pass on what they know and what they learn to me and I take in consideration and sometimes I actually listen. Once they die I'm going to keep that legacy for myself and teach it to my kids and hopefully they can learn like I did and talk and pass it onto their kids. After teaching my kids the lessons, hopefully they can teach their kids as a legacy for my parents and me.
