Legacy Narrative Essay
¨Legacy is a stupid thing! I don't want a legacy.¨ People or things have not really impacted or left a legacy with me. But if I had to say something that might even affect me it would be any philosophical sayings or just funny sayings or any other random quote that could be serious about life or not. Why those? Well like they’re supposed they help get you think and just wonder about a bunch of different things and also sometimes just to have a laugh. The funny thing is that some answers I hear to the sayings are pretty hilarious and sometime some wonderings are just really funny, like they make you go why? but then you can just say again why? or why not? These things question a lot of things and sometimes there are just some quotes that I agree with. I can also come up with my own questions but won’t get taken seriously. I don’t know what to even write but I know I have to do this because its a school assignment. Maybe it’s because of all the quotes I’ve heard and read I’m like this, but I digress. These words inspire me to think and sometime not to think.
Some of these quotes or words sometime give me a warm flow throughout my body when they are usually something positive, and if it is a negative quote I’ll usually get some dark or negative thoughts. These quotes sometime make me think in different ways or perspective. The sayings/quotes I read or remember or resonate with are usually something intelligent or funny. I don’t really care to have a legacy but society seems to care about a lot of things, if youŕe different you will probably be rejected. One quote that makes me ponder is this one ¨It's hard to say what I want my legacy to be when I'm long gone.¨ I really connect with this quote because it’s kind of true in its own sense.
So, I guess the legacy I want to leave behind for myself is to show a regular person who just lived their own life, also I don’t care too much about what I leave behind. Iĺl just live a good life. If you want to live leaving a legacy good for you, but I don’t like when people force things on you because they want to. The legacy Iĺl behind is whatever I left behind, I won’t stress over what people think of me. The only problem is society’s judgement on who/what I am/do. In the end of everything it doesn’t really matter to me.
