Description of Artifact
The artifact that I chose is a gold colored cross with black shading on the bottom of It and a little thin black shaded line on the sides and corners. It’s as big as my hand and can stand on Its own. It’s placed next to my tv on top of my white drawer and is a reminder of my strong faith. The cross is a symbol used in many religions including mine which is Christianity. This to me is a meaningful artifact because its something so simple that holds such a powerful significance to me. Although I don’t take it wherever I go, I know that it reminds me that I am being blessed daily. The cross not only signifies my faith, but shows the strength I have because of God. I also feel encouraged to do a quick little prayer everyday before I go to sleep and after I wake up when I look at the cross standing on my drawer.
What my artifact says about my legacy is that I want to be remembered as someone who loved God and loved to spread his words helping people around the world. I want to let others know that they are worth so much more than what they believe and show them how life is such a beautiful thing. By spreading the wise words of God, I hope to spread peace and happiness and open peoples eyes to the real significance of life and all the beautiful things that you can make out of it. Hoping people will go out of their comfort zone to do amazing things making a chain reaction causing others to follow in their footsteps. I would like to help people find what makes them happy and how they can make others happy.
The category that I am in is Religion, Culture and Teamwork all combined. My artifact fits into this category because the cross is a very religious symbol and signifies a lot of religious characteristics in my life. Also, because my artifact conveys how I want to make people peaceful and happy which is making a whole new culture with new mindsets and ways of looking at life. In order to create this new culture of peaceful and happy people you would need to bring many people together to cause a chain reaction which is a form of teamwork.
