Super Fight
The artifact that I chose is a card game called Superfight. The game comes in a black and white box that says, “The game that will cost you all of your friends.” Inside the box is an immense deck of cards consisting of 2 colors, black and white. The black ones are attributes, and the white ones are characters. This game is my favorite game to play, especially with the people closest to me. It’s always fun to have the friendly competitive atmosphere while laughing your butt off with those you love. I played this first at Comic-Con with my girlfriend and it was the best thing in the world. We laughed, giggled and had so much fun. We played for at least ten minutes before the guy at the stand told us to leave so I just ended up buying it. As soon as I bought it we played more and had plenty of more laughs.
This game is super fun and I love it. Everytime I played with friends we all laugh and have a good time. At first everyone thinks it’s strange but people end up falling in love with it and want one of their own. The game is totally unique and the cards are completely tacky. But as soon as they begin to get into it they enjoy themselves and they get competitive. Even though theres competition, laughs are heard and smiles are seen. People’s stress is reduced and end up happy and light hearted.
This artifact shows how I love the happy feeling and atmosphere it leaves, it makes me want to spread that happiness and fun to other people to make a culture filled with that feeling. That culture of happiness is why I chose my group, Religion/Culture/Teamwork. From even before my artifact I knew that my legacy wasn't going to be about me, it was setting a culture of people paying it forward and making good vibes be a habit. This card game, though unorthodox, shows how anything can relate to creating a cultural change and maybe even beginning a new culture.
